Origins Series: 1993, after much Bible Study, getting saved and Baptised it was time to bless the turntables C-mode style. After hearing SFC, Freedom of Soul, Dynamic Twins and LPG..I had to get some mixing down with this NEW Holy Hip-Hop sound. This was a 90 minute Memorex audio casette from '93 re-mastered to mp3 for podcast. Includes a remix of C Mode Funk with Sup the Chemist and a very young Pigeon John and a younger Uno Mas (long before the LA Symphony days), IDOL King, FOS co-lab, D-Boy, P.I.D. & more. I had to re-release this one for all the new skool cats that say old Gospel rap was wack. "They gotta here this C-Mode joint & re-think that jon!", said DJ one3. "I'm-a bring 'em up on game."

Origins Series: Actually a audio(mix)tape transferred to mp3. This was a live mix done at Florentine Gardens in Downtown Los Angeles Summer 1990 mixed by one3. 1990 was a year before he was saved so it is raw, secular based & uncut. At this dance spot one3 was required to start up with cha-cha jams and then as the nite went on he could mix hip-hop. So this is actually about 2 hours of mixing crammed onto a 60 minute Maxell audio cassette back in '90 then podcasted here in '09. It has been mastered as best as possible but the sound quality is not tops. But the mix is tight. "It really shows where God has brought me from..", said DJ one3. "Old school heads will dig it & remember when."
